Just curious, Did you talk to anyone who had anything good to say about anything that we were doing over there or just the malcontents

Most of the military supported Bush for good or bad. This war documentary should show both sides of the story but I'm sure it won't where are the anti-war crowd now that Obama plans to keep troops in Iraq and send even more to Afghanistan? Cindy Sheehan is the only one who is a true anti-war and peace activist and calls them as she sees them and has said Obama is just another puppet and just like the rest of the other presidents before him. wake up and see the truth! Obama is just another politician!

@no2hypocrite, While I agree with you regarding Cindy Sheehan; She is NOT the only one who is speaking out against the wars. Have you not heard of Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Amy Goodman, Jeremy Scahill, Naomi Klein, Robert Fisk?, -- the list goes on. Man, where have you been?

Out of curiosity, why has Tom Atoe written the exact statement -- word for word -- as hypocrite2. Are you one and the same person and if so, why did you feel the need to post the comment twice under two seperate names. Just curious.

Kudos to Ava, I was just looking at all the videos that have been supplied on YOUTUBE that she has provided. An extremely brave and intelligent young girl. This nation is so fu--ed up it's not funny -- death threats? It's not easy speaking truth to power. Look at what happened to poor Rachel Corrie, the US peace activist in Gaza protesting the Israeli demolition of Palastian homes. She was crushed to death by an Israeli bulldozer on March 16 of 03. Rachel would have just celebrated her 30th birthday this past April 10, 09. Her memory will live on. There is a website in her honor at "rachel corrie.com." Well worth checking out. So Ava, keep on doing what you're doing: exposing the lies and telling the truth. You are a beautiful human being.
PEACE AND LOVE,
DAVE

Regarding Ava's up and coming film FALLOUT, one might wish to visit "democracynow.org" Upon arriving at the site, scroll down the left side of the page till you come to "WINTER SOLDIER." By clicking on, you will then be able to view speeches given by vets having just returned from Iraq and Afghanistan (this took place last March 08). They describe in vivid detail crimes in which they, themselves had committed. All were deeply sorry for what they had done. The event was sponsored by IRAQ VETS AGAINST THE WAR.
Some websites worth checking: democracynow.org, znet.com, shockdoctrine.com, electronic intifada.org, counterpunch.org, McClatheynews.com, rachelcorrie.com, rachel corrie peace and justice foundation.com, salon.com, socialistworker.org, norman finkelstein's official website, noam chomsky's official website, firedoglake.com and if I come upon any more I may have missed I'll be glad to post them. Have a great day!

Regarding "democracynow.org" and WINTER SOLDIER. I just checked out the site and they have removed this piece from the entrance page. The way to view it now would be by going to "democracynow.org/archives/march 2008. They must have just changed this as it was still there Monday (4-20-09). Sorry for the inconvenince.

Democrats are hypocriutes and so are the anti-war and environmental groups. Proof? they supported Obama a two faced panderer and there were clearly more anti-war and peace candidates out there. stop drinniong the kool-aid and trying to be hip to support the first black( well he is half) president. sad
