Damn girl! You hit another one out of the park! Fantastic work.
Mary @ Tue, 30 May 2006 06:50
You are the real deal. If they had as much commitment as you have, the Dem. party would ditch their consultants and run your pieces. Over and over. Great job.
jason @ Tue, 30 May 2006 07:54
I would like to donate money to get this played on one of the major networks. Can anybody set that up?
Lisa @ Tue, 30 May 2006 10:33

Robbie @ Wed, 31 May 2006 06:24

Gene @ Wed, 31 May 2006 07:56
Welcome to adulthood. Seems you've already spotted the pitfalls, and found that the truth is an elusive and difficult commodity... Thank-you for all the hard work, Ava. Your fellow countrymen appreciate it, and you are reaching far more than you think today. Truth ripples like water interrupted, and you are stirring the pot well!

A friend just sent me a link to your site. It is truly moving. Have you considered uploading your videos to sites like YouTube, etc. to get them the exposure they truly deserve?
Byron Story @ Wed, 31 May 2006 01:45
I say Amen to what I'm reading about this video. It's a real KO punch.
But I know that you and your contempararies have been steadily punching away when you were not in the majority. This took courage and I salute you.
Deb @ Thu, 01 June 2006 02:03
Right on, Ava!!! Not only do you realize that it's the people who have the power--now you've reminded them... Power to the People!!!

Hopefully you've encouraged a nation to get up and stand up! Time to exercise your rights.

What you have, Ava, is courage! One thousand thank-yous!!!

We've added both Yearly Kos video's to the Ned Lamont group at YouTube ("Nedheads"), as well as the group YouTube Democrats. Great stuff.

Sis @ Thu, 08 June 2006 03:19
YOU have courage; and your work inspires us to explore what is really going on and to tell the truth about those in power and what they are doing to our country and our world! Keep rocking us, Ava!
Zenseeker @ Sat, 10 June 2006 08:33
You are an incredible person Ava, to have such clarity of vision at such a young age. Your parents must be proud. I have linked you at my digg like website to vote for the most truthful story at
You are on the front page! Keep on seeking the truth. Where do we find gems like you? smile
trixie1 @ Sat, 10 June 2006 03:04
Be bold and outspoken! the truth is often offensive to the ones who don't want to hear it! lets get our guys in uniform home, on their feet not in body bags!
Jason Story @ Sun, 11 June 2006 12:42
smile as always your animations are brillant and moving....keep up the good work. I could only wish that for younger peoples sake, some of the major news networks would have you on. I believe this could move young peoples to get involved into what is going on in our country and the ramifications for years to come from the GWB White House....keep up the good work! Peace does take courage, something you most certainly have.
John Grimes @ Sun, 11 June 2006 12:47
Ava, from my understanding, you are only a very young lady.....what great talent and awareness of our political climate today. Yeah for you. I wish more young people were involved and taking stands on issues, regardless of their party affiliation. Your parents must be so proud to have such a special young adult for a daughter.....keep up the good work; for us all!
DivaJood @ Wed, 14 June 2006 09:12
so good, that even the MSM is taking notice. It's a great video, and I'm posting about you on my blog again
Another Young Adult @ Wed, 14 June 2006 09:18
I must say, the movie itself is very powerful; an awesome animation. A couple of quick points.

1. You really are a Bush Basher. The truth hurts.
2. Protesting to end the war doesn't make you a truth seeker or a patriot. It just makes you a protestor.
3. Just because Bush has low approval ratings doesn't make you a majority. It means that most of his supporters aren't satisfied with the job he's doing (because he's not governing as a conservative), yet they're still conservatives.
4. John Kerry and other prominent Democrats also believed and said that Saddam was a threat to this country. How come they're not labelled as liars? Could it be because they're Democrats and Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld are Republicans?
5. Iran is a threat to this country and the world. If an invasion is what it takes to remove that threat than so be it.
6. Democrats are just as corrupt as Republicans. Congressman William Jefferson comes to mind. Course he's not mentioned 'cuz he's a Democrat.
dr_turgeon @ Wed, 14 June 2006 10:36
Anna, I must say, you are powerfully correct.

Quick point: Truth is on our side!
nigela @ Wed, 14 June 2006 04:58
great video, ava. you just need to fix the grammatical error at the beginning-- (its, without an apostrophe)
Mark @ Sun, 18 June 2006 10:32
The points are obvious and the videos are cliché, I thought there would be some original thought here.
WHY @ Mon, 19 June 2006 01:38
Would those people/politicians be calling out for war if their children were going to be in the war or their fathers/mothers?? It is easy to yell war and give these hyped up speeches and then sit back into your chair or have dinner with your loved ones. Why should our soldiers die for another country?? Why couldnt we just kill off only Sadam (one whom WE gave the WMD's in the first place to eradicate whole Iranian villages). There is some rule that you cant kill ONE corrupt leader but you can kill thousands of innocent people????????????
When will our conscience stand up to us??
AL-E-CAT @ Mon, 19 June 2006 01:55
I am a vatern and a father of a 15 yr old . I'm tring to teach my son to have his own thoughts . I read the thoughts by Another Young Adult and even though he/she disagrees with her he should let her speak her mind . Anyone else who bad mouths this young lady should remember she is 15 . Do we not have the right to speak our minds in the U.S. anymore . Left or right should not make a differance if you speak with the facts : We were misled into this WAR by W. , Dick C. , George T. , C. Rice , ETC . You seem to forget the FACT of all the rederick about WMDs . If any of this was true we would be in N. Korea right now . Instead we are in Iraq wondering about Iran and afraid to do anything with Korea , China , Mexico and our own problems at HOME .
AL-E-CAT @ Mon, 19 June 2006 01:59
Sorry about spelling (veteran) etc , I was just so taken about this child having death threats made to her for speaking her mind . This is still the U.S.A.
Teresa @ Mon, 19 June 2006 03:47

Keep up the good work Ava and if you are not already, start reaching out to kids your age. It's you guys and those just a bit older, my children who are in their twenties can change the world. It is you time to shine and we will do what we can to be there with you.
HyperSphere01 @ Mon, 19 June 2006 05:15
Very nice video. The tide turned last year. Everyday gets a little better.

Thanks for your hard work!

Sheri @ Mon, 19 June 2006 08:26

You are an awesome artist and you serve America well! The truth will be heard and we will bring this country back to sanity EVENTUALLY! And Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rove, Rumsfeld and the rest of Bush's lying, traitorous, cowardly, corrupt, incompetent and dangerous pack of crooks will be imprisoned - one way or another!
sam @ Mon, 19 June 2006 10:01
Like you, I'm already against the next war. And the one after that, and....

keep up the good work, and remember "illegitimi non carborundum"
Rich DeSantis @ Mon, 19 June 2006 10:10
Thanks or your great work and your courage. Watching your videos has given me renewed energy to keep trying to bring some sanity to to the people who still blindly support Bush and his cronies
Kelvin McCabe @ Mon, 19 June 2006 10:11
As a person in their mid 20's...i am quite impressed with your work. Unfortunately, the same cant be said of the other young person poster in this thread, who hasn't the faintest idea of what being a patriot is all about. You have got it right - don't ever weaken your message and don't fear the empty death threats made by those who want to suppress truth. The fact that they want you dead for what you say speaks volumes about both a)how powerful your message is (which is what scares them) and b)how ridiculous the right wing fascists really are. Speaking your mind is an American right, given power by the 1st amendment to the bill of rights (there is no coincidence that freedom of speech and the press was put 1st among those hallowed rights). Keep up the good work.
Lillian Reid @ Tue, 20 June 2006 03:07
thanks, your awesome kid!

You broke through the media barrier with
a little bit of truth. GOOD JOB!!

You are brave and have achieved a great victory!
Carla Riggs @ Wed, 21 June 2006 02:37
You are truly wise beyond your years. Please keep doing the right thing and help people realize this and all wars are wrong. Bless you!
Frankie Bruchis @ Wed, 21 June 2006 07:37
The future of our great country is in great hands. The hands of thousands upon thousands of brave, patriotic, compassionate teenagers like Ava! Thank God for you and your passion for the truth.
