Coulter is always calling for liberals to be killed. Why are people still surprised by it?

More to the point, why is she given a platform on Good Morning America or on Hardball?

Al Sharpton is pretty awesome though.

I feel he went a little overboard on the Don Imus thing.

Because controversy=ratings. That's why I wish liberals would just ignore her. The howls of outrage from our side over her every utterance are to her what the golden apples of Freya were to the Norse gods in Wagner's Ring cycle - without them, she would diminish into nothing.

Parasites such as Coulter thrive on publicity and being controversial is the best way to get that in a "free press" society. sHe is using democracy of putting forward views that are anything but democratic.

Yeah I thought the Republicans oppposed gay marriage.
Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?' Expediency asks the question, 'Is it politic?' Vanity asks the question, 'Is it popular?' But, conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?' And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because one's conscience tells one that it is right. -Martin Luther King, Jr.

ha! i heart al but that was funneh.

imho if coulter is whats wrong with america then america has got it easy.

i genuinely feel the bunk repeated by the edwards that its mean words thats debasing everything, is again, bunk. the edwards should stop being word nannies and instead do something tangible. something other then call in shows.

can you imagine if the general is between edwards and fred thompson? 2 do-nothings.

the empty rhetoric about poverty from edwards is near insulting. what did he do in his senate career to address poverty? nothing. thompson equally as qualified in nothing as edwards. when thompson was asked, what did he accomplish in his senate career? he could not think of a thing.

I´m with you, Englishman. It´s up to Elizabeth Edwards to call whoever she wants to call, but personally, I wouldn´t give the person in question the time of day, much less try to dialogue with her. And I´ll share a Spanish saying on the subject: "El mejor desprecio es no hacer aprecio" - Which I would translate the spirit of as something like: "The best way to put someone in their proper place is to ignore them."

Its outrageous that she is not banned for her remarks and that she was invited for a full hour when Rham Emanuel was allowed only 5 mins of being shunned. We need to be making a stink about this!!!

Relax one, our "favourite" transexual is playing hopscotch in a minefield, but to ban shim (Singapore slang for a transvestite) would make shim a martyr to the cause.
