“The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum – even encourage the more critical and dissident views. That gives people the sense that there’s free thinking going on, while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of the debate.” - Noam Chomsky

Thanks guys. Unfortunately it's midterms, so my 21st was pretty uneventful. But I went to dinner with a few friends, got my school work done, and am almost done with midterms. Wooooo, crazy ;)

Question: Why do the fundies always tell us they are under siege when it's themselves that are launching the attack on all those that disagree with them.

I feel so freakin' old now. My daughter turns 21 in May.

Is it time for me to go out to pasture now?
