so unfortunately i won't be updating with a new video for awhile. i only have one arm to work with, so there will be a lack of updates in the next few weeks. sorry guys... as a friend recently said, injury seems to have a crush on me.

John McCain has made it clear that if elected, he plans to continue the Bush Administration's "legacy", specifically when it comes to the war in Iraq. Over 4,000 American troops have been killed in the war, and it is estimated that at least 1,000,000 Iraqis have died as a result of the war. We've already had 5 years of a disastrous war. Do we really need four more?

My Computer Is Fried

There will be no new Peace Takes Courage updates for awhile. My computer was murdered yesterday evening by the lightning. Not only did the lightning take out my computer, but also two tv's and a cable box. I'm hoping that it was only the power part of the computer that is messed up - my tech guy(aka my bro) is coming tomorrow to look at it. Today I headed down to my granny and papa's to visit with them, so I'm using their computer now.

I'll be heading home next week and at that point it may be awhile until I'm online again - it depends on the damage and if I'll have to get a new computer or just replace a part. I can't afford a new computer right now so hopefully the whole computer isn't messed up. I'll probably be scarce over the next few weeks, but I'll try to check my email and the site when I can.

Sorry guys... this really really really really sucks.

This is a video I made for this Memorial Day last year. Unfortunately the death toll in of the current wars has risen since this video was made, and hopefully by the next Memorial day that will no longer be happening. Regardless of how we feel about past and currents wars, we should all honor and respect anyone who signs up to defend our country. This video is my Memorial Day tribute to all of those brave men and women.

For almost eight years we have been following in the footsteps of George W. Bush. Over 5 years ago, his footsteps have lead us into a war based on lies. Today we are still following the same footsteps, and our country is still headed in the wrong direction. John McCain wants to follow those footsteps left behind by Bush. Do you?

I was inspired to make this short film because it isn't often that we hear about war's effects directly from those who are effected: the returning troops. As someone who has military family members who have been in past wars, and the current wars, I felt it was important to hear directly from a veteran of the Iraq war. This is how the Iraq war has affected one soldier.

George W. Bush declared "Mission Accomplished" in Iraq. 3,925 American troops have died since he made that declaration and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis have been killed.

This video is a year old, so keep in mind while watching that unfortunately the death toll has increased since then.
